A beautiful and radiant 22-year-old TUKS student from Pretoria, Tana Ferreira, has been announced the winner of SARIE magazine’s 2012 Cover Girl competition at a glamorous gala event, held at the Table Bay hotel this week. The blue-eyed blonde will grace the November cover of SARIE which is on sale from Monday.
The popular Cover Girl competition which invites SARIE readers older than 18 to enter, attracted entries from all over the country after the competition was announced in the May issue. Not only did Gauteng yield the most entries and winner, it is also home to the second runner up, Annamie de Bruin as well as Johanna Bezuidenhout who was the winner of the SARIE Inspiration Prize.
“Tana’s striking features and sparkling good looks gives her cover girl qualities, fit for South Africa’s number one women’s glossy magazine”, says Michélle van Breda, SARIE’s editor. “She has the X factor that sets her apart from the crowd. We found her flawless beauty to be inviting rather than intimidating. She oozes confidence and playfulness that intrigues all who meet her. We are delighted with the outcome of the competition and we believe our readers will agree that Tana encapsulates the essence of a SARIE cover girl”.
