The Media Online and DStv Media Sales are joining forces in a challenge to all media men: time to grow a ‘mo’, raise some money and get behind a worthwhile cause – MOVEMBER. We’ll be announcing details of our challenge in our Tuesday newsletter, but in the meantime, here’s some information to get cracking on growing that ‘mo’.
As a Moustache Merchant, raising funds and sharing knowledge of men’s health, your actions will help change the face of men’s health. Here are a few tips of the trade to help you get started:

Step One: Personalise your Mo Space (Donation) page • Login and update your profile picture, personalise your motivation and claim your own personalised Movember URL • People who update their Mo Space page raise on average five times more than people who do not .
Step Two: Don’t Mo Alone • Grow with friends, family or colleagues as part of a team. Check out the Team page for everything you need to get a team growing with Movember and Sons.
Step Three: Grow and Craft a Mo • Start Nov 1st clean shaven • Then grow a moustache all month – remember, no beards, no goatees • For Movember style inspiration download The Style Guide
Step Four: Raise funds and awareness • Login and view the Donation section where you will find suggested wording to ask for donations via email, Facebook, Twitter or in person • To mail any cash/cheque donations follow the steps on the Donation Form • Knowledge is Power, the Moustache is King. Never underestimate the power of knowledge passed down from our fathers and forefathers or the knowledge passed back and forth across the generations
Step Five: Honour your Moustache
