Hellocomputer, Draftfcb South Africa’s full-service digital specialist, has brought home two Webbys Honoree Awards. One was for the Toyota Etios ‘Tweet for Sweets/Smile’ campaign (which it created with Draftfcb Johannesburg) and the other for the ‘Pledge’ campaign developed for Eskom.
“The new round of award shows for 2013 has just announced their results, and it is fantastic to see Draftfcb agencies with some wins under their belts. Congratulations to all involved,” said the group’s chief creative officer, Brett Morris.
Toyota Etios ‘Tweet for Sweets/Smile’ also picked up two One Show Merits for the sister agencies, and Draftfcb Cape Town was awarded a One Show Pencil for its ‘Fire Blanket’ campaign for Engen. This work is also on two finalists lists at the Clios, one for design and the other in the ambient category.
The leading international award honouring excellence on the internet, The Webbys was established in 1996 during the web’s infancy, and is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).
