The Gautrain’s new handy pocket guide Z-CARD, detailing all of its new and old bus routes, is being distributed free to commuters as an add on to its initial train route Z-CARD.
“This information packed Z-CARD follows on the success of the Bombela Concession Company’s initial user-friendly Z-CARD that details the Gautrain’s routes from the OR Tambo International Airport to Johannesburg, Sandton and Pretoria and back again,” says Bombela Concession Company’s marketing executive, Errol Braithwaite.
The new Z-CARDs are being distributed free to commuters via dispensers at the Gautrain stations, and offer passengers an additional real-time service update application which they can receive directly on their cellphone. “All you have to do to register is send an SMS and the word ‘ALERT’ to 32693,” says Braithwaite.
“Our Quick Response Code and other applications featured on the back cover of the Z-CARD also direct travellers directly to the Gautrain website for any other information that they may require,” he adds.
