The Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) has launched ‘NAB Bites’, a semi-formal regular networking session that will feature political activists and commentators, academics, economists and business entrepreneurs that will share insights, experiences and offer valuable advice that will be useful to NAB’s clients, partners and suppliers.
“Our most recent forum hosted Professor Adam Habib, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of the Witwatersrand and Professor of Political Science, where he discussed the current state of the nation, the economic and political challenges faced and the post election landscape,” says John Bowles, NAB’s joint MD. “The purpose of these sessions is to bring industry stakeholders together to share information that is insightful, educational and of value in our day to day business dealings.”
The second event is set for the 9 July, and will feature TNS Research Surveys. The research house, with Neil Higgs, will dig deeper into the popular ROOTS survey and gather useful insights beyond the initial launch findings. ”We’re very excited about TNS and Neil unpacking ROOTS beyond what has been released,” says Bowles.
Another session to pencil in is the annual Ehrenburg Bass Institute (EBI) tour scheduled for the beginning of September.
Each forum is supplemented with Twitter chatter. Tweeters can use the hashtag #NABbites as the marker or for additional searches.
