Heineken has unveiled its Open Your City mobi-site, a new digital experience that forms part of the current ‘Open Your City’ campaign. The mobi-site aims to inspire and help consumers to discover adventures in their very own city, using a brand new and innovative social tool – a digital compass.
“The adventures are not just average nights out at a club, but very cool journeys, connecting three unique locations with one golden thread – an experience that shows a side of their city that you didn’t know existed. Journeys might, for instance, include a New York style groomer, an iconic new street wear store or a vibey underground bar to quench your thirst. The adventures will push boundaries, take you out of your comfort zone and show you what makes your city amazing,” says Tjeerd Veldhuis, marketing manager og Heineken South Africa.
Consumers are invited to create their own city adventures or share or like adventures made by others. By sharing or liking they will automatically be entered into a weekly draw to win a Samsung Galaxy S5, and by submitting their own created adventure, they stand the chance of winning the grand prize – a 72 hour adventure in Shanghai, China.
