Hip and happening Radio Helderberg will be at the Stellenbosch Woordfees 2015 from 9 to 13 March. The team will interact with listeners at what is rapidly becoming one of South Africa’s favourite festivals. The community radio station is celebrating reaching 64 000 listeners and sees its presence at Woordfees as an opportunity to spread the word that tuning into 93.6FM is an experience not to be missed!
In its 16th year, Woordfees – an arts and culture festival – welcomes people from far and wide to enjoy the Western Cape’s diverse arts and culture offerings. Events include theatre productions, music performers, art exhibitions and inspirational speakers.
Listeners can visit the station between 10am and 6pm from 9 – 13 March and ‘tune’ into the people behind Somerset West-based Radio Helderberg. “You’ll find us at the Erfurthuis doing interviews, shaking hands and keeping the Woordfees on its toes!” says the Radio Helderberg Team. “Please pop by and maybe grab a book while you’re there.”
Apart from joining in the Woordfees festivities, the radio station will now be offering quick lessons on etiquette with Hettie Etikettie every Friday at 8:30am. “Let’s get those pinkies in the air, chaps”!
