Parent24, the biggest parenting website in South Africa, has announced that they have incorporated YourParenting.co.za, the website of Your Pregnancy and Your Baby magazines, into their online fold. This move joins the magazine content into the new Parent24, bolstering South Africa’s largest and strongest parenting brand.
“The incorporation of these titles with Parent24 allows advertisers to access the power of the best parenting brands at one destination. It brings the best parenting content and the most engaged parenting readers under one umbrella, which is a win-win for everyone,” says Gustav Goosen, CEO of The SpaceStation which exclusively manages digital media sales for the site.
The content in the new Parent24 site is written by South Africa’s leading paediatricians, dieticians, nurses, midwives and other parenting experts, and deals with real issues every pregnant woman and parent faces. As part of this big move, Parent24 has received a fresh new look across desktop, mobile and newsletter platforms. With the integration of around 4 000 pieces of content from YourParenting, the wealth of information is available immediately. In addition, future new content from Your Pregnancy and Your Baby magazines will be published on Parent24, adding even further to the growing base of high quality parenting content.
The editor of YourParenting.co.za, Sophia Swanepoel, has taken over the editorship of Parent24. “We are looking forward to combining the best of both brands and to bringing our loyal readers the latest parent news and talking points, with a wholesome angle to help create a friendly, safe space for parents,” says Swanepoel.
“Our redesign has created a more intuitive navigation, cleaner layout, and deeper content sections covering all developmental years,” she said. “With an improved mobile interface, the new Parent24 also offers the 400 000 magazine readers on the Your Pregnancy and Your Baby Facebook pages a strong mobile destination which they didn’t have before. It’s an exciting move for everyone.”
