As CEO of Acceleration Media, Tony Sousa is responsible for driving the growth of the company's business and helping it to enhance its mobile advertising and marketing offerings. Tony has extensive experience in South Africa's technology industry and has especially intimate knowledge of the mobile telecoms field. He has joined Acceleration Media from MTN South Africa, where he held the position of Senior Manager: Portal and Web until July 2010. Previous to that, Tony ran a consulting firm called Converged Communication Consultants, which provided advisory services to companies rolling out digital and mobile strategies. Tony's earlier career included a range of management and sales positions at organisations such as Triple Play Communication Networx and GloCell.
