The Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA) has announced the list of finalists for its Best Company Contribution to Digital category, sponsored by Apurimac and Yahoo, for this year’s Bookmarks Awards.
“We are extremely pleased by the number of entries and fantastic contributions we have seen this year, as it underpins our commitment to fostering a member driven association which encourages and engages South Africa’s digital community to drive industry growth and development,” says Suzanne Little, head of marketing for the DMMA.
“We founded this category, which is only open to DMMA members, as a means of publically recognising the organisation that played a defining role in terms of its benefaction towards the digital industry and community- for no monetary gain. Each finalist has been selected based on their voluntary contributions, for the period between Oct 2011 – Oct 2012, which ultimately assist in the growth, education, development and transformation to digital.” This ranged from the creation of digital collateral to providing job shadowing opportunities for youth interested in pursuing a career within digital.
