Times Media has launched a new online trade portal billed as the one-stop-shop for “all-things-advertising” within the group. The TMAdRoom has taken the place of the “dated” PushPrint site, which has been “retired”.
“Our re-invigorated trade- focused website reflects the culture of innovation within the Group. We have spent a significant amount of time and creative energy in developing a platform that our clients will enjoy and access as an essential resource on a weekly, if not daily basis,” says Trevor Ormerod, GM Advertising Revenue and Strategic Communications for Times Media.
The new site is a single point of access to key information required by media-planners and advertisers to make effective ad spend decisions. As such, the planning and presentation toolkit feature assists media-planners position print-ad options effectively, particularly when their client deadlines are tight.
The ‘planning and presentation toolkit’ is a highlight of the new site and will allow agencies to create customised print-strategy presentations online, in a professional ready-to-go manner. Newspaper logos, editor photos, and infographic cuts are all available in high res formats. Various creative options for print can also be included in the presentation.
Site visitors will also find the latest Times Media happenings and industry insights, rate cards and a rate calculator, ad specs, and editorial themes for the popular weekly supplements.
The group invests in a number of high visibility surveys and awards events throughout the year. These include GenerationNext, Top Brands, Retail Awards and Top 100 Companies. Research methodologies and the full pdf’s of these supplements, as well as current and past results are available on the site. Photographs can also be viewed in the gallery section.
“Being in the business of news, it makes sense to expose advertisers in a meaningful way to Times Media’s full stable of publications, and we believe the new site makes this very easy, ” says Ormerod.
