Weeknight viewing on kykNET is about to get even better with the launch of five brand new late night programmes that guarantee a focused perspective on actual events. The new programmes will tackle a variety of topics – from politics, economic issues and business to culture, art, fashion and satire.
Waldimar Pelser, Divan Botha, Santie Botha, Mariëtta Kruger, Kabous Meiring, Kim Cloete, Yvonne Beyers, Fanie Cronjé, Francois Toerien, Melt Sieberhagen, Bouwer Bosch, Jody Abrahams and Shaleen Surtie-Richards are just some of the names that will be keeping viewers informed and entertained.
“At kykNET, we continuously strive to improve and renew our schedule. Our viewers’ need for more relevant actuality programming was the reason behind the decision to make our available late night slots more actuality-driven, instead of repeating programmes,” says Karen Meiring, M-Net’s director of Afrikaans channels. “We not only want to inform and entertain, but also expand on everyday issues to stimulate conversation. This is a major move to something fresh and highly exciting – a brand new late night lineup that’ll get tongues wagging on screen and across all social and other media!”
kykNET’s new actuality slots will air, every weeknight, from 6 October 2014.
