Continental Outdoor has continued its roll-out of roadside digital billboards across sub-Saharan Africa into Malawi. The erection of these world-class advertising structures into Blantyre and Lilongwe has injected a renewed interest in the Malawi consumer market from marketers.
The mayor of Blantyre, Councillor Noel Chalamanda, is proud to be part of the digital expansion that Continental Outdoor has embarked upon. “The digital billboards that Continental Outdoor have erected light up our landscape and demonstrate how world class we strive to be in Malawi. Continental Outdoor continues to produce innovative solutions for our cities that benefit the beautification of our environment and marketers alike”, he said.
The roadside digital networks, managed and scheduled from the digital hub at Continental Outdoors’ head office in Johannesburg, are now present in Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana and Angola.
Ryan Neyt, general manager for the region, was interviewed on Malawi national TV, and responded, “We bring a state-of-the-art digital solution to Malawi which allows real-time advertising with interactivity and superior pixel quality. Furthermore, marketers are now able to target consumers by day-part whilst in the relevant mindset”.
