It seems that radio presenter Sasha Martinengo’s faux pas while on air at Hot 91.9FM (referring to Julius Malema as a monkey), which led to his dismissal from the station, didn’t damage his reputation too much, as he has been scooped up by LM Radio.
In an under-the-radar move, Martinengo started at the Mozambican station at the beginning of this week, hosting the morning drive-time show, LM Breakfast.
Martinengo broke the news on his Twitter account at the beginning of this month, by posting the following:

A post on his Instagram account added, “For those who don’t know Radio 5 was borne out of LM. I have a new home and so do you. I hope you join me from this Monday.”
Martinengo took over from Ian Logan, who was moved back to the afternoon drive-time slot, hosting LM Afternoon Drive.
