In breaking news, TheMediaOnline has learnt that Debbie Dale, well known media strategist and planner, has resigned from Unilever after many years of managing their media spend. The position is considered to be one of the plum jobs within the media sector due to the intricacy and importance of advertising to the Unilever Group. TheMediaOnline understands that she is launching a new career in the business coaching field.
And in other breaking news, the TheMediaOnline has learnt the Media Matters will no longer be featured on SABC. A brief email from Rani Ryan, content co-ordinator, says that “all future Media Matters shoots have been cancelled, as Media Matters will be coming to an end. This is due to sponsorship which has not been realised, and the financial implication thereof should we continue to produce the show”.
