Leading public relations consultancies, practitioners, government departments and NGOs are dedicating time, energy and resources to preparing their entries into this year’s PRISM Awards. And with good reason – clients and potential clients choose companies or individuals who have won awards, it gives your company more exposure and it gives you the opportunity benchmark your campaigns against your competitors. Now in its eighteenth year, the PRISM Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 19 April 2015 at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton.
“Winning Awards motivates our team to deliver top notch work that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our national and international competitors,” says Nicola Nel, managing director at Atmosphere Communications. “Awards, both local and international ones, are an external endorsement that we are on the right track, creatively as well as in delivering business results for our clients,” she says.
Changes to this year’s Awards categories include the introduction of the Best African Network category. The campaign of the year has been divided into two categories – Pan African Campaign of the Year and South African Campaign of the Year.
Marcus Brewster, chairman of marcusbrewster, says that when they did research on how clients decided which public relations consultancy to use, the number one response was ‘reputation’. “We believe that our consistent standing at the annual PRISM Awards has contributed to the high esteem in which the marcusbrewster public relations brand is held and that this drives demand for our services from prospective clients looking for a leading public relations firm,” says Brewster.
Prism Awards are presented to public relations and communication professionals who have successfully incorporated strategy, creativity and professionalism into public relations and communication programmes as well as strategies that highlight a successful public relations campaign. Entrants do not have to be members of PRISA to participate.
If you want to participate in this year’s Prism Awards, please remember to register by 6 February.
