Media executives, Craig Ross, Nic Wides, Larry Katz and Russel Stromin have teamed up to create www.flook.co.za, South Africa’s first sports group buying site. Ex-publisher of Golf Digest and sports titles at Touchline Media, Craig Ross, is at the helm.

Flook is the first local group buying company focusing exclusively on sports deals in South Africa. The Flook site offers fetching deals for sports people, players and fanatics, from discounted group buying rates at leading golf courses, cycle shops and clothing retailers, as well as limited offers on VIP hospitality at premier sports matches. Normal retail prices will be reduced by as much as 75%.
Special interest group buying has signalled a departure from the generic restaurant and spa model employed by traditional group buying sites. Flook.co.za caters for a vast and affluent market of sports participants and fans.
