The Independent Agency Selection and Search Company (IAS) is bringing Paul Phillips, the managing director of the AAR Group, the experts in client/agency relationships, to South Africa for the very first time.
The AAR Group is the London based affiliate of the IAS. They help advertisers and marketing services agencies to establish, build and derive maximum value from their business relationships.
Phillips, who is regarded as one of the world’s foremost authorities on client/agency relationships, will be conducting a series of masterclasses and seminars for agencies and advertisers on how they should work together to get the maximum value from their business relationships in Johannesburg and Cape Town from 29– 31 October 2012.
The IAS will host an agency Masterclass, which Phillips will facilitate, entitled the ‘Magic of Chemistry’ in Johannesburg on 29 of October 2012 at the Hyatt Hotel in Rosebank. The Cape Town Masterclass will be held on 31 October 2012 at Winchester Mansions. Masterclasses are free of charge for IAS subscribers but open to all agencies.
For the first time this year the IAS will be introducing two seminars for advertisers on ‘Getting the most out of your agencies’ which will be facilitated by Phillips. This seminar is aimed at providing a better understanding on why client/agency relationships fail and what to do to avoid this. It will take place on 30 October in Johannesburg at the Hyatt Hotel in Rosebank and on 31 October in Cape Town at the Winchester Mansions.
