Former Bizcommunity editor Louise Marsland will be speaking to industry body PR-Net this month, talking hot trends and cool stuff.
“The rising African consumer is one of the top trends for 2014 and the continent is the focus of much attention from brands and multinationals. Other notable trends include the visual revolution; immersive experiences; crowd power; localism; mindfulness and telepathic technology,” she says, adding that 2014 is also the ‘Year of Content’ and the ‘Year of Wearables’.
Marsland is the founder and publishing editor of TRENDAFRiCA.co.za. She has distilled all available opinion, curated the top trends for 2014 from experts, both internationally and locally, and partnered with JWT Intelligence in New York, to produce her TRENDAFRiCA 2014 Trends Annual, a digital magazine available free on her site.
PR-Net founder Brian Berkman says that the venue for the meeting is the newly acquired ABC Bank now part of The Taj Hotel, Cape Town’s banqueting and eventing options.
The talk starts at 5.45pm on Thursday, 20 March. Fee is R125 per person paid by eft when booking. See www.pr-net.co.za or follow this link to book:
