Clearly a useful activation as Consol swaps plastic for glass
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Consol, the glass brand with a conscience, is offering to swap plastic water bottles for its environmentally friendly Grip and Go Active alternative. In honour of International Choose Glass Week, Consol is set to create a “nationwide glass movement” through the activation at 16 Planet Fitness gyms across South Africa.

“We want to educate consumers about the benefits of choosing glass as a packaging choice. This can be done through illustrating the practical applications of glass and its benefits in everyday life. Members of the 16 Planet Fitness gyms will get the opportunity to experience the benefits of glass first hand, as the drive during Choose Glass Week gives the gym members the opportunity to swop their plastic sports bottle for a Consol Grip & Go Active bottle at no cost to the member,” said Dale Carolin, marketing director.

“This will allow the members to experience the glass difference firsthand. The benefits of glass that we are promoting during Choose Glass Week includes glass being pure and healthy, food and drinks taste better in glass, glass keeps your beverage colder for longer, glass is class and adds style to any occasion and glass is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly.”

This year Choose Glass Week takes place from the 26th of September 2016. For more information about the Planet Fitness gyms participating in this activation please visit the Consol Bottles UP Facebook page, Consol Glass Facebook Page, Twitter @Consol_Glass  and Instagram @consolglass. Be sure to use the hashtag #CHOOSEGLASSWEEK to make sure you stay updated with all the latest information with regard to this nation-wide glass movement.
