The MOST Awards is a much anticipated annual celebration of excellence in service delivery, knowledge and innovation in the media sector. This year the winners will be announced on 14 September 2017 at The Wanderers Club in Illovo, Johannesburg.
“The MOST Awards is now in its ninth year and has grown from strength to strength thanks to the continued support of our stalwart sponsors in the media industry. The success and credibility of this initiative is due, in large part, to the continued participation of our MOST loyal sponsors,” says Sandra Gordon, founder of the MOST Awards and CEO of Wag the Dog Publishers.
The MediaShop and DStv have the most enduring contracts, having both partnered with MOST almost since its inception. The SpaceStation, Vizeum, Carat, Ebony & Ivory and Mediamark have also shown loyal support over many years.
Raising the bar
“The commitment of these companies to raise the bar and uphold the excellent service delivery, knowledge and innovation standards in our industry is commendable. The sustainability of the MOST Awards hangs on the ongoing support of our loyal sponsors and others we are negotiating with,” says Gordon.
The MOST Awards is based on independent, robust research conducted by Freshly Ground Insights (FGI) and provides the opportunity for media agencies and media owner sales teams to anonymously vote on the quality of the service delivery, knowledge and innovation of their counterparts based on a number of criteria. The industry recognises the significance of this accolade and the value of the in-depth insights that MOST Awards research reports provide in an increasingly competitive environment.
Sponsorship sales for the 2017 MOST Awards event opened at the beginning of May. A variety of sponsorship packages are available. Sponsorship of specific awards can be packaged to include online advertising before, during and after the event plus fun, creative and enduring activations at the awards.
