    Media Mogul

    I think unbiased media planners with no previous affiliations to big media houses can be very crucial to the industry. However media planners who control big budgets and have associations with big media companies ( e.g. Ex employees) means that smaller media companies don’t stand a chance in getting that business, because it has already been allocated (during the visit to the game farm over the weekend!). I and other smaller black media companies have experienced this from Mediashop, and have come to terms that racism still exists in the industry. That being said, progressive companies such as WPP and Mindshare have taken an active role in transforming the industry, and supporting smaller black media companies, with wonderful results ( DSTV OOH campaigns are an example of this)
